1903 Registration of the trademark at the imperial patent office in Berlin

1932 Heinrich Bien becomes the owner of the company

1960 Plant relocation to Neu-Isenburg and entrustment of the company to Mr. Heinrich Bien junior

1963 Redesign of the trademark

1975 Development of printing inks

1989 Takeover of the company by Christian Hahn Graphische Technik und Handel

1990 Plant relocation to Mittelstetten-Tegernbach

1993 Start of production and development of special lacquers for the printing industry

1995 Export to the Near and Middle East

2002 Foundation of the joint stock company Römer Istanbul A.S. together with the Öncü Group A.S.

2003 Redesign of the trademark, to emphasize the strategic orientation of the company to the printing inks sector

2004 Cooperation with SICPA, a worldwide leading ink producer with 2.700 employees in 35 countries and a global presence over 5 continents

2005 Certification according to ISO 9001:2000

2006 Establishment of a new factory and R&D unit

2007 Installation of a dispensing system by Füll Systembau
(Germany) with 42 valves and storage tanks with 140 tons capacity

2008 Expansion of the international distribution network
